Biography

Belgium-bred loud rockers Millionaire -- Tim Vanhamel (vocals, guitar, keyboard, programming), Bas Remans (bass), Dave Schroyen (drums), and Aldo Struyf (guitar, keyboard) -- were formed in 1999 by Vanhamel, former guitarist of Evil Superstars, dEUS, and Eagles of Death Metal. After recording their first album, Outside the Simian Flock, in 2001, the band was noticed by Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age while Millionaire was opening for Masters of Reality. Homme asked Millionaire to support QOTSA on tour, and when it came time for Millionaire's second album, Paradisiac (2005), Homme was found in the production chair.
