Biography

Led by vocalist Mats Sinner, Sinner was a German metal band reminiscent of countrymen like the Scorpions and Accept. Their first American release, Fast Decision, appeared in 1983; it was followed a year later by Danger Zone, widely considered their two best records. Several more albums followed before the band called it quits in 1988; after Sinner and guitarist Tom Naumann played together with Helloween's Kai Hansen in a band called Primal Fear, which released a self-titled debut in 1998, the former two resurrected Sinner for a new album. Dubbed The Nature of Evil, the record was released later that year. The End of Sanctuary followed in 2000.
