Biography

The Arsons started when New York band Greyarea took a rest in 2001, not officially breaking up but freeing the members to pursue other projects. Singer/guitarist/drummer Ernie Parada teamed with vocalist Marc Adams to start writing material for a rough-edged punk album, and soon they brought bassist Al Volonino into the fold. Drummer Vinny Value followed when Parada decided not to sit behind the kit for the project. They started putting together hardcore songs and eventually got their eponymous debut released on the Bouncing Souls-run Chunksaah Records.
