Wow, cool list, thanks! I've been going a lot to Japan recently and had the fortune of seeing bands like Super Snazz play (and hang out with the members at several occasions). I've also picked up a bunch of 7" singles with girl bands, including: The Go-Devils (similar to Gitogito and 5-6-7-8's) The Feminine (garage rock) Go Kitty (powerpop) The Heck (punk) Romanes (all Ramones covers in Japanese!) Six (60's pop style) If you ever go to Tokyo, you need to check out Poor Cow, a bar run by the singer of the amazing Firestarter, and Record Store Base and Disk Union Punk, perhaps the most well-stocked punk/garage/power-pop record stores in the world.

Thanks for the Small Color heads up, I was very taken by the freebie but didn't spot the album, you must've posted the moment it showed. Credits refreshed today and so far from my list above, along with all the Berry Roll, I've grabbed Gitogito Hustler's Gito Gito Galore (Ω). Playing now and sounding really good, even better than the samples suggested. I'll probably pass on SpecialThanks, the more I listen to the samples the more I'm reminded of Avril Lavigne. A trip to Tokyo with a wallet full of cash is the dream, hopefully one day.

Interesting indie band Goomi's album Megamittsu has just been added. Quite varied in style, with girls on bass & drums, & a guy on guitar & violin, all providing vocals.

& there's some great angular indie rock form Molice on Doctor Ray. (Unfortunately I've only got 7 downloads left so I can't download it all at once :( ...but I've only got to wait a week ;) )
