Christope Pays Ellipse

Ellipse is an interesting new release from Christope Pays. Quiet, mostly acoustic small group performances with voice (spoken word) on one track. If you're into European chamber jazz you may enjoy this.

His website christopepays.com does not offer an English translation, but it does offer samples of three songs from the album, plus two additional live tracks.

I also highly recommend this album. Some very beautiful bass clarinet play on this album.

Thanks to both recommenders. You're on it. This is a good find. I would've totally missed it.

I also would have missed this. I am listening to the first track as I type this. It is spellbinding in the simplest and richest ways at once. Even the vocal is appealing and there's no one more surprised than I to see myself type that. I am hooked.
